Last updated: July 15, 2025
1. Introduction
Welcome to Feather Systems, Inc. ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"). Your privacy is critically
important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your
information when you use our web application and finite element analysis (FEA) services
(collectively, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference into our Terms of Service. By using our Services, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with
this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, you must not access or
use the Services.
2. Information We Collect
We collect information that is necessary to provide, maintain, and improve our Services. The
types of information we collect can be broken down into three categories:
A. Information You Provide to Us
- Account Information: When you create an account, either directly or by authenticating
through a third-party service like Google or GitHub, we collect information necessary to create
your account. This includes your email address and may include your name if it is provided by the
authentication service.
- User Content: Our Services allow you to upload, create, and analyze engineering
models. We collect the data you voluntarily provide, which may include 3D models (CAD geometry),
simulation data (such as material properties, loads, and boundary conditions), and the analysis
results generated by the Services ("User Content"). As stated in our Terms of Service, you retain
all intellectual property rights to your User Content.
- Billing Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, our payment processor, Stripe,
will collect and process your payment information on our behalf. We do not store your full credit
card information on our servers.
- Communications: If you contact us directly at contact@feather.solutions, we may receive additional information about you, such as the contents of your message and
any attachments you may provide.
B. Information We Collect Automatically
- Usage Data and Log Information: When you access the Services, we automatically
collect certain information, including your Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, operating
system, the pages you visit, and the time and date of your visit. We use this information to monitor
the performance of our Services, prevent fraud, and ensure security. We do not use third-party
behavioral analytics suites like Google Analytics.
- Error Reporting Information: To identify and fix bugs in our Services, we use
Sentry, which may automatically collect diagnostic data if an error occurs. This data is limited
to technical information about the error and the state of the application at the time of the error.
- Cookies: We use cookies for essential and functional purposes only. Cookies are
small files used to maintain your login session and remember your user preferences. We do not use
cookies for marketing or third-party advertising. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies,
but if you do, you may not be able to log in or use core features of our Services.
3. How We Use Your Information

of Service; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Feather Systems, Inc., our users,
or the public.
- In Case of a Business Transfer: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or
